About us
From our great-grandmother we learned to knit and crochet. This hobby has accompanied us since childhood, so we decided to start our own business in April 2021 with sijsters Nordic Strick. We make our home textiles and home decor with love and passion. We are children of the north and love Scandinavia and their way of life. In today's world, where we are constantly on the move, it is important to come to rest and take some time out. We relax with a cup of coffee or tea and our knitting and enjoy the products that are created. When using our materials, we not only pay attention to quality, but also that the wool is produced under fair conditions that do not harm animals or humans. Therefore, we only use wool that is eco-certified and GOTS-certified.

Das verwendetet Garn für unsere Spültücher und Seifensäckchen ist aus feinsten ägyptischen Baumwollfasern gesponnen, nachhaltig hergestellt und absolut vegan.
Die ägyptische Baumwolle gehört unter allen Baumwollarten zur exklusiven Sonderklasse. Sie ist berühmt dafür, besonders strapazierfähig und weich zu sein, mit einer fantastischen Haltbarkeit.
Die ökologische Baumwolle im Baby Cotton Garn ist mit Sorgfalt gezüchtet und wird ausschließlich mit der Hand geerntet. So kann man genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt ernten, wenn die Pflanze reif ist und Zeit hatte, sich zu entwickeln.
Das schonende Pflücken bedeutet weiterhin, dass die Fasern ihre Fülle, Geschmeidigkeit und Länge behalten.
Das Garn ist GOTS zertifiziert (Nr. GO0361) und somit Deine Garantie dafür, dass das Garn mit Umsicht und Respekt vor der Umwelt und ohne Gebrauch von chemischen Pestiziden und Kunstdünger etc. produziert wurde.

Our crochet baskets were crocheted from a ribbon yarn of high quality. Some ribbon yarns are made from different qualities or surplus material. We use only ribbon yarn for our crochet baskets, which is made of pure cotton and is Ökotex certified.
